FAMILY MUSICAL WORKSHOPS at the Out of Town

Centre, Beaulieu on Saturday 17th March

(11a.m. & 1p.m. sessions available, sessions are around an hour in length)

MARIA KING and FRIENDS:  International musicians Maria King, Roger Curphey and Alan Clarke, warmly invite you to join them for a family musical workshop full of fun, involvement and learning ... no need to bring an instrument along ... just come along and enjoy!

Price:  £3.00 per person, £2.50 for Friends of the Trust, (price includes refreshments)

Children must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Little Owls Parent & Toddlers Club

Come and have fun exploring nature!

Meetings are usually the first Friday and following Monday of each month with a choice of a morning session (10.00am – 12.00 noon) or afternoon session (1.00 – 3.00pm)

6th and 9th January:              Animal Homes and Hibernation (TSC)

3rd and 6th February:            Super Senses (TSC)

2nd and 5th March:                Hopping Mad!  Frogs and Toads (TSC)

13th and 16th April:               New Life on the Farm (OTC)

Cost: £5.50 per parent and child (plus £2.75 for each additional child/adult).  Friends of the Trust £4.00/£2.00.  Advance booking only.


Big Owls Club

Fun, discovery activities for 4 – 6 year olds with adults

Meetings are held in the school holidays, usually on a Tuesday

10.00am – 12.30pm and 1.30pm – 4.00pm.

Easter Holiday Activities

11 – 14 year olds

Hands on Countryside Day

Monday 2nd April, 10.00 am – 4.00 pm

Get out into the great outdoors for some practical conservation work.

Do some tree planting and create a new hedge line whilst learning how to use tools safely, and eat your lunch around the campfire.

Cost: £15.00 per person, £13.00 Friends of the Trust

Adults/children 8yrs+

Introduction to Archery

Wednesday 4th April, 10.00 – 11.30 am or 2.00 – 3.30 pm

Learn the basics of bare bow shooting and take part in some archery games. Family groups welcome.  Children must be accompanied by a participating adult. Leaders are GNAS qualified.

Cost: £10.00 per person per session, Friends of the Trust £8.00

Easter Egg Eggstravaganza

Thurs 5th April, 10.00 am – 12.00 noon (option to stay for picnic lunch afterwards)

Come along and join in with some family fun including a Mega Easter Egg Hunt.

Cost: £3.00 per person, £2.50 for Friends

5 – 8 year olds

Spotty Bug Spotting

Thursday 12th April, 10.00 – 13.00

Learn about lovely Ladybirds and have some fun with games and crafts all rounded off with a tasty ladybird themed snack.

Cost: £8.00 per child, Friends of the Trust £6.00 including refreshments

CHILDREN’S PARTIES

If you are looking for something different  for your child's party, look no further – outdoor and eco-friendly, we have two great venues: The magical Treehouse Study Centre and the Out of Town Centre Farm at Beaulieu with a wide range of fun activities.

Themes include Survival for 7 year olds+ and Campfire Experience for 10 year olds+, a range of exciting themes for 4 – 10 year olds including Robin Hood, Pirates, Fairies & Elves, Dinosaurs, Bugs and Animals based at the Treehouse Study Centre all year round and farm parties in spring and summer at the Out of Town Centre.
