A Floral Christmas with Mala at the Treehouse Study Centre
Saturday 30th November - Two Sessions: Table Decorations at 10 am – 12 midday and
Front Door Designs at 1.30 – 3.30 pm
£10.00 per session (Friends: £9) or £18 (Friends £16) for both sessions.
Having studied and qualified in floral designing, floristry and teaching, Mala is a National Teacher for the National Association of Flower Arrangement Society and won Gold at Chelsea!
Mala will be running a new short course “A Floral Christmas” at the Treehouse Study Centre which will teach you how to either make a table decoration or a front door design or both if you stay for the day! You will need to bring your own materials as per a list that will be provided.

We’ll be picking apples from our traditional orchard, crushing and pressing them by hand to make some fresh juice and cider.
Come along and join in at any time. You can try the juice and if you like, buy some to take home with you. If you have your own apples, bring them along in a bucket with some containers to take your juice home (small charge for making juice from your own apples). No need to book

AUTUMN BIRD WATCHING WALKS WITH GRAHAM GIDDENS
Guided walks giving you the unique opportunity to birdwatch on quiet areas of private land in the company of professional, knowledgeable guide, Graham Giddens.
Each walk will be approx. 3 miles (5km), sometimes on uneven terrain. Cost: £12.00 per walk per person, Friends £10.00. Numbers are limited on each walk so book early. Full details will be sent upon booking.

Park and meet in the main parking (by the café). The paths may be muddy, so wear waterproof footwear with a good grip.

“Introduction to Falconry” - A Falconry experience
During this half day session you will gain a basic understanding of birds of prey, their training and care whilst providing a hands-on experience holding and flying falconry birds.

4 Day Beginning Falconry LANTRA accredited course

This is a fully LANTRA accredited course and works towards the LANTRA/Hawk Board Beginning Falconry Certificate. Cost: £395.00/Friends of the Trust £375
Birds of Prey - Falconry Photography Day
Saturday 12th October
10.00am - 4.00pm
The day starts with a short Introduction to falconry, followed by an opportunity to photograph birds of prey in flight, working and posed in their natural habitat.
Working closely with Falcons, Hawks and Amber, the European Eagle Owl.
Cost: £50.00 per person, Friends of the Trust £45.00 including refreshments (Please bring your own packed lunch)

The aim of this course is for everyone to learn about and get practical experience in how to utilise all the parts of a deer carcass. Everyone leaves with fresh venison they have butchered themselves.
