The smaller Treehouse is more intimate, connected to the larger Treehouse via a ropebridge (perfect for those extra special, romantic photographs).
Our Wedding Co-ordinator will be able to cater for your every need and can organise photography, flowers, cars, table decorations, in fact anything you may need for your dream day.
The venue is also available for reception only celebrations if you decide to hold your marriage ceremony at a local church or register office.
"Enrico and I married in a registry office in Ringwood in the morning and then went on to have a 2nd cermony in the woods around the Treehouse on 23rd July 2010. We then had our reception in the Treehouse itself and thanks to the weather it spilled outside and around the venue. It was the such an incredible venue - we feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to celebrate our wedding day there. This fulfilled a childhood dream of mine to get married in a forest and this really did surpass that dream. The venue absolutely made the day. The building is just beautiful and a perfect setting for the flow and atmosphere of an event like a wedding. We were so excited in the build up to the day and could not wait to witness the reaction of our guests as they arrived - everyone was in awe, unsurprisingly!! It is just so special, tucked away in the forest yet it was easily accessible for our guests - the Motor Museum really helped people find it. Having the Out of Town Centre for guests to stay in was a joy in its convenience and in allowing the celebrations to be extended beyond one day. The Out Of Town Centre was another beautiful venue, with the lovely campsite, the gardens and farm. And Beaulieu itself is, of course, picture perfect. David and Lynda were incredibly accommodating and kind - there were all sorts of extra things that they helped us with that eased the organising and added extra, special elements to the weekend such as the use of the Trust's vans and bacon and eggs from the farm. The outcome of all this was that our friends getting married after us told us off for setting the bar too high!!! This really was because the Treehouse was so special in itself that we couldn't really go wrong from there." Hannah
Interesting and Inspirational Treehouse Facts
The building is a leading example of environmentally friendly and sympathetic construction with sustainable wood and natural design ensuring the building is at one with the landscape and has a small carbon footprint. The central heating is fired by a boiler which uses pellets derived from scrap wood, and throughout the summer a smaller log boiler, fired using logs from the surrounding woodland heats the water. Solar panels provide the lighting in the lavatories which are flushed with harvested rainwater. Wherever possible materials have been locally sourced.
Self Catered Wedding Accommodation

The Out of Town Centre is only a 5 minute drive from the Treehouse Study Centre and for a donation to the Trust, we are able to offer our minibuses for you to use to transport your guests from your reception venue to their accommodation. The centre can accommodate up to 55 people and you would have exclusive use of the well-equipped large kitchen and comfortable sleeping and living areas. Our own bacon, sausages and free range eggs are available for purchase for everyone to gather together for a full English breakfast the morning after the wedding and a time to share memories and stories of the day. If you have children staying you can book to take part in animal feeding sessions on our farm at 8am or 4pm each day. There is also an adventure playground to the rear of the centre to keep the children occupied.
