Out of Town Centre

The Out of Town Centre is our residential unit which offers superior hostel accommodation for up to 40 students, with 4 separate bedrooms for accompanying members of staff.

Built in an L-shape, the Out of Town Centre has two identical wings, each containing four spacious dormitories for four children in two-tier bunks with duvet covers. Two single teachers' rooms, as well as showers and toilets, are also included in each wing. The centre of the 'L' comprises a large dining/activity area with a small library annexe. The Centre is well stocked with study equipment. We also provide waterproof cagoules and tractor suits for the children.

The experienced Centre staff provide full-board for residential groups. They are accustomed to dealing with individual dietary requirements and the Centre has established an excellent reputation for caring for groups with special needs.

Groups can stay for a week (Monday - Friday) or for a weekend, and follow a programme planned in conjunction with the group leader and delivered by a dedicated member of our education team.

The Centre can be booked at weekends and during school holidays, either fully catered or self-catered and we can provide educational support if required. We already have Brownie groups, youth groups, church groups, ornithologists and conservation groups visiting so do call us to see what we can offer you.
