We are pleased to be hosting the first of a series of lectures about the New Forest Coast. This evening talk will be led by Russell Wynn of Wild New Forest in our Fort Climate Centre, where we’ll be looking at how sea level rise and other effects of climate change are set to impact the migratory birds and marine wildlife that we find in the Solent.
Before working at Wild New Forest full time, Russell was a marine scientist at the National Oceanography Institute in Southampton, and has published over 30 papers in scientific journals focusing on UK wildlife and conservation. Russell established Wild New Forest with Marcus Ward in 2016 with the goals of supporting wildlife conservation in the New Forest and raising awareness on conservation issues.
