Whose footprints are these?, What type of deer have the antlers come from?, where might dormice be living?
Find out the answers to these questions whilst exploring the woods. There will also be games to play and some craft to make and take home.
Covid mitigation measures
Owls Clubs may look a little bit different this term;
All sessions will start with an indoor activity whilst everyone arrives. The rest of the session will take place outside to minimise the need for changing children in and out of outdoor clothing.
There will be a maximum of 8 children per session.
Only one adult to accompany each owl and no additional siblings for the time being (this includes babies). We are trying to keep the total number of people in the group as small as possible and we need supervising adults to be able to give 100% of their attention to the child taking part in the session to help with social distancing and to ensure the children get as much as possible from their time at Owls Club.
We have reduced the length of a session from 2 hours to 1.5 hours. In acknowledgement of this the session price per Owls Club member has been reduced from £6.00 to £5.00 per child. Named pre-wrapped snacks will be provided on the tables at the beginning of the session. We would ask that snacks are not shared between families.
If you or anyone in your familiy has symptoms of Coronavirus please do not come to Owls Club. We will allow anyone who has to cancel their booking for this reason to transfer onto another session.
Many thanks for your support and understanding. We hope to see you soon.
