Countryside Workshop: Artists’ Charcoal Making

Woodland Skills

Join us to learn how to make charcoal for writing and drawing over the fire. We’ll collect the materials we need in the woodland and then create the charcoal on the fire. While it’s cooking, we’ll enjoy a hot drink and a snack – and then test our charcoal with some creative activities, writing and sketching. 

We’ll be in the woodland for this session, so please dress for the outdoors and the weather and for messy writing and drawing with charcoal! 

This session is recommended for adults and children aged 16 and over. 

Refund Policy: Tickets are only refundable up to two weeks before the event date. If you require a refund, please call the office at 01590 612401. Please note, tickets cannot be transferred to other events. Any cancellations in the 2 weeks before the event can not be refunded.
