Pine Martens in the New Forest: Evening Talk

Come along to the Climate Centre at the Countryside Education Trust where Marcus, Director of Wild New Forest Guided Tours, will be giving a fascinating talk exploring the lives of Pine Martens in the New Forest.

For more than a decade, Marcus has been studying Pine Martens across the New Forest, building an increasingly detailed picture of how these elusive mammals live and interact with the wider woodland ecosystem.

During the talk, Marcus will explore all things Pine Marten — from their ecology, behaviour and daily lives to their relationships with other species. He will also share the latest findings from the New Forest Pine Marten study, alongside updates on some of the other mammal species that share the Forest’s woodlands with them. This is the perfect opportunity to discover more about one of the New Forest’s most elusive and fascinating mammals, and the ongoing research being undertaken to help us understand them.

Doors will open at 6.45pm for teas and coffees before the talk starts at 7pm.
